Financial Budgeting and Stewardship 101
Every week on Saturday until Nov 14, 2020 from 9:30a to 11:00a
Organizer: Alex Nowlin

When someone asks how you’re doing, would you tell them if you were struggling financially? Emotional or family hardships are often easier to share. But we never want to invite others into our private struggles with finances. Why is that?

This event is designed to give you a high level overview of the tools you’ll need to be financially responsible, and a good steward of what god has blessed you with. We’ll be meeting over two Saturdays to cover budgeting, saving, retirement, and generosity. This course is perfect as a lead in to our Financial Peace small groups starting in January, or if you just need a refresher to get back on track.

Day 1
11/7 - 9:30am - 11am
Budgeting, Saving, Retirement, and Generosity 101 with handouts, group breakouts, and Q&A.

Day 2
11/14 - 9:30am - 11am
Diverse Panel that will be sharing their financial journeys and answering questions.

MVC MOPS

Thursdays 9-11:30 AM

September 16th-December 2nd

Mothers of Preschoolers is a ministry that gathers and supports moms in raising up the next generation, together. Come and enjoy breakfast, hear from equipping and encouraging speakers, and share life with other moms.

This year we embrace the transformative power of love, to the point where it starts to affect everything we do – the way we talk to our kids, interact with strangers, handle disappointments, celebrate victories, make decisions. When love floods into our lives, it all shifts. This is our year to live “All for Love.”

Cost: $125 with childcare, $80 without. Assistance available, if needed.

My Scripted Story

My Scripted Story is an exploration of living in and through the true stories of other humans through scripts from plays, television, and film. By “playing the part,” we learn more about the unique parts of ourselves that have the potential to evolve, expand, and connect us more authentically with the people and world around us.

This gentle inquiry invites us to reflect upon our personal scripts – the ones we’ve written in our heads, the ones we cling to in our hearts, and those we may wish to release.

Introductory workshop on August 1st from 5-7 PM at MVC. Classes begin Wednesday, August 18th from 7-9 PM and will continue for six weeks.

Questions? Email Joey Borgogna.
