TIME FOR THANKSGIVING
This year has flown by! I can’t believe we are already rounding the corner to 2022!
Sunday, we will kick off Thanksgiving week with testimonies, baptisms and giving thanks for all God has done in our midst this year. This is always a highlight the year and I hope you can join us in person or online.
Then the season of Advent marches us up to Christmas! Christmas Eve services this year will be back inside (remember the rain and windstorm last year!), but we will have a hosted experience on the patio and our livestream on YouTube so that everyone can participate.
As we come to the end of this year, I am thankful for all those who helped us rebuild our ministry after the pandemic. I am thankful for the return of our youth camps and our men’s retreat, for our women’s groups and our harvest fest, for feed the need and Iglesia Monte Vista. I am thankful for our reduced rent and our staff retention credits that made up for the shortfall in giving. I am thankful for people like you who continue to give, attend and serve, fueling our minstry. I am thankful for a hard working staff and wise overseers whose resilience and teamwork make the dream work.
Next year, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary. God is not finished with Mountain View. There are lost people to be reached, lonely people to be connected, hungry people to help grow, willing people to develop and leaders to be deployed. There is work to do and we need your help to do it.
Would you help us finish strong? Give your best gift at Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you have a company that is looking to donate and recieve a tax deduction at year end, direct it here. If you want to give stock, reach out to cheryl@mvc.life. If you want to find out how to set up a donor advised fund or a charitable remainder trust to maximize your giving, Chuck McLucas is willing to help you for free if you are giving to MVC. Email Chuck Here. Learn more HERE.
Either way, I know you love to be generous because you were created in the image of a generous God, and I look forward to seeing how we will partner with God at the end of the year to plant the seeds for the next 25 years! God bless you!
Thank you,
Todd Rodarmel
