Unidos Christmas Store
Sundays, December 4 and 11
Before and after services
This weekend and next, bring a gift to drop off at church to help stock the Unidos Christmas Store!
Every year we have a pop-up sale where we sell donated gifts at a steep discount to low-income parents in the neighborhood. At the Unidos Christmas Store, families get a little boost to be able to choose the gift that best expresses their generous love for their kids. Then after the Store closes, the revenue goes back into the community to fund Unidos programming.
Women’s Koinonia Christmas Dinner and Outreach Baby Shower
Tuesday, December 13
6:00 – 8:00 PM
A Christmas dinner gathering for women as well as a holiday outreach project to bless new moms at Camp Pendleton. This year, we will be collecting new baby clothes and diapers to be donated to Kathy Hooper (a member of MVC) who ministers to the new moms. Those who would like to attend, please bring a dish to share plus your new baby clothes or diaper donation. Please RSVP for address.
Live Nativity Experience
Wednesday, December 14
This December, bring the whole family for a live nativity experience. Our hope is that this event helps posture your heart to the season of anticipation.
We will culminate the evening with some traditional worship songs and Christmas carols, and the children will break off for their own worship program.
Kids Night In & Parents Night Out
Friday, December 16
5:00 – 7:00 PM
Parents, it’s time for you to have a night out! Bring your kids to the church at 5:00 PM for drop off — they can wear pajamas, bring a blanket, and we’ll be having pizza and watching the animated Christmas movie “The Star.”
Enjoy a couple hours to yourself, and then return by 7:00 PM for pickup. We hope you can find a bit of a breather amidst this busy holiday season!
