What we believe matters. Who we believe in matters too! It really is the foundation of our faith. But what about Jesus believing in us? Jesus was often referred to as Teacher. Ask yourself this question, “What does it mean when the teacher believes in the student?” It’s a simple yet profound question that should cause each of us to pause and consider what it truly means to receive the love of Christ. In the Gospels, we see Peter tell Jesus that he would walk on water to come to him. Jesus believed Peter could, commanded him to “come” and Peter did! Jesus believes in us—He believes in you—and He has made you for more. What an encouragement! Can you imagine a world where we believe in ourselves as much as Jesus does?
