DO YOU THINK GOD IS HOLDING OUT ON YOU?

God isn’t stingy.  He’s the most generous being in the universe.  He already gave us what was most valuable – whether considered from the perspective of the Son (who gave his life) or from the Father (who gave his son).  If you need money to pay your bills, do you think that’s a big deal to him?  If you need grace to forgive, healing for your body, favor for a job . . . what are they compared to what he has already given you? Paul doesn’t say that to shame you into NOT asking.  He says it to encourage you to ask boldly!

What do you need?  Who is your Father?  What has he already given you?

Use that as your starting point to ask, and expect that you already have his favor . . .
