WE ARE HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
I am excited to be home for the holidays! Personally, I have had a great week away with my lovely wife. We are home from our trip, but we are moving this week to a new (to us) apartment in San Clemente. I know it’s hard to keep up. I’ll tell you more Sunday. The good news is that our church family is home for good!
Sunday we are starting a new series leading us up to Christmas. Who are you inviting to be your guest? We are going to be telling the story of God coming home to his creation. There was a lot to overcome to get him home for the holidays: relational misunderstanding, impossible circumstances, political intrigue, a dangerous journey. It’s a great story and I love finding new ways to tell it every year.
As we share the good news of God’s homecoming to us, we will be inviting people to come home to him. Those who have wandered and those who have always had a restless heart will find their home in him. Consider inviting someone to be your guest each Sunday during this season. Perhaps they will feel at home for the holidays too.
